says Davis. &#8220;These sleep-oriented vacations focus on comfort and wellness, combining health best practices, like alcohol-free stays and healthy food options, to help you feel like your best self again.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sleep tourism packages usually include holistic wellness activities like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatva-node-stage.tsc-starts-coding.com\/blog\/yoga-poses-for-sleep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">yoga<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatva-node-stage.tsc-starts-coding.com\/blog\/meditation-for-better-sleep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">meditation<\/a>, spa treatments, and even nutrition workshops, adds Davis.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-sleep-tourism-is-so-popular-right-now\">Why sleep tourism is so popular right now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/stories.hilton.com\/2024trends\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hilton&#8217;s 2024 Trends Report<\/a>, the top reason why people are choosing to travel this year is to rest and recharge\u2014and, beyond that, really prioritize sleep.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It makes sense that travelers would want to prioritize rest while vacationing\u2014as it turns out, a majority of people aren&#8217;t getting quality Z&#8217;s at home.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatva-node-stage.tsc-starts-coding.com\/blog\/gen-z-millennial-sleep-habits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recent Saatva survey<\/a>, only 41% of Americans rate their sleep as good\u2014and according to\u00a0a recent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.gallup.com\/poll\/642704\/americans-sleeping-less-stressed.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gallup poll<\/a>, 57% of Americans say they would feel better if they got more sleep.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the Saatva survey notes, there are a variety of reasons why people aren&#8217;t sleeping well these days, including health concerns like back pain and insomnia and mental stressors like finances and work.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pandemic opened people\u2019s eyes to the benefits travel can have on our mental, spiritual, physical, and overall well-being, explains De Vore. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatva-node-stage.tsc-starts-coding.com\/blog\/self-care-ideas-sleep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Self-care<\/a>&nbsp;and wellness were catapulted to the top of people\u2019s priority lists during this time, she says.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Fading away are the days when people want a busy itinerary,&#8221;
