But that doesn\u2019t mean all tech is banned\u2014she uses her Alexa at night, which automatically begins playing her go-to sleep playlist (Coffee Classic) at 11 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt separates my bedroom as this place that is meant for sleep,&#8221; she says. &#8220;Peace out, I\u2019m getting my eight hours, good night! People are making their bedrooms a tech-free space. And if they are utilizing tech, it\u2019s done in a way that allows you to be more hands-off from the experience\u2014you\u2019re automating things so they\u2019re just happening.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bottom line? If millennials&nbsp;<em>are&nbsp;<\/em>using technology in the bedroom, it\u2019s highly functional, with the goal of helping create a sanctuary space where they can wind down for sleep.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-nightstands\">4. Nightstands<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For millennials, who like minimalism and organization, furniture is all about function\u2014and if you\u2019re prioritizing functional pieces, look no further than the humble nightstand. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA lot of us are living in a really small apartment where you only have room for a bed\u2014especially with people prioritizing getting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saatva-node-stage.tsc-starts-coding.com\/blog\/queen-size-bed-dimensions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">queen bed<\/a>,\u201d Keal says. \u201cI didn\u2019t have a nightstand for four years.
